Advantages of Die-Cutting Machine
Increased efficiency and productivity
The integration of die-cutting machines into the manufacturing process leads to a significant boost in efficiency and productivity.
Cost savings
Die-cutting machines contribute to cost savings in several ways. First, the precision cutting reduces material waste, ensuring that more fabric is utilized effectively.
Consistency and quality control
Consistency is a key factor in maintaining quality in manufacturing. Die-cutting machines ensure that each piece is cut to the exact specifications, reducing the likelihood of defects or variations.
Creative flexibility
With die-cutting machines, manufacturers have the freedom to explore new designs and patterns that May not be feasible with manual cutting methods.

For flexibility, it supports quick-change die cylinders (15-20min switch), faster than non-rotary systems. This adaptability mirrors top rotary die-cutting machine versatility, handling multiple products. Die cylinders (150-300mm diameter) fit up to 5mm rigid plastic sheets, expanding use from thin films to corrugated panels.
A 10-inch touchscreen hmi integrates with plc, storing 200+ parameters (speed, tension, die type). Operators monitor data and adjust remotely-consistent with user-friendly rotary die-cutting equipment design. Self-diagnosis alerts to die wear, low tension, or overload, reducing downtime.
Flatbed die cutter: A flatbed die cutter uses custom steel rule dies that match the shape and design you want to produce. Hydraulic pressure pushes the die downward to punch out parts from the stock material.
Rotary die cutter: Rotary die cutters are electrically operated, using rotating cylindrical dies called die stations. You feed the material into the die station, which holds a rotary tool that cuts out the parts from the sheet or roll.
Digital die cutter: Digital die cutters or desktop cutting machines don’t have dies. Instead, they use lasers, blades, and tool bits controlled by computers to execute the designs. You can create designs from scratch using a software then export them to the machine for processing.

Die: The custom-made tool with a sharp steel rule blade bent into the desired shape that cuts the material.
Cutting bed/platen: A stationary or rotating surface that supports the material during the cutting process.
Stripping unit: Removes the excess material or "matrix" around the die-cut parts after the cut is made.
Blanking unit: Removes the inner cut-out shapes (blanks) from the material.
Feeding system: An automated system, often using suction nozzles and sensors, that feeds the material into the machine.
Magnetic cylinder (rotary machines): Holds the die in place on a rotating cylinder.
Slitting unit
Cuts the material into narrower strips after the primary die-cutting process.
Anvil/backing roller
A roller that works in conjunction with the die cylinder to apply pressure in rotary machines.
Control system
Manages pressure, speed, and other functions for a consistent process.
Press/cylinders
The mechanism that applies pressure to the die and material. This can be a press in flat-bed machines or rotating cylinders in rotary die cutters.
Die board
The flat, hard surface that holds the steel rule blade, made of materials like wood, composite, or steel.
Ejection material
Rubber or foam placed on the die board that helps to eject the cut parts and waste material.
